If there’s ever gonna be a trial about whether Eric Clapton is God or not, this would be a nice piece of evidence for the God part. Clapton was only 21 when he recorded this and you have to be pretty stubborn to deny the fact that it’s a pretty awesome performance by the young lad. Just listen to how he takes off at 2:27. Marvellous!
Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite as good when they reunited for the 70th. birthday celebration of John Mayall in 2003.
